Here’s everything you need to know before joining the Halloween BuildBattle:
- Your build must match the announced theme to be rated by the jury
- All tools allowed: Axiom, WorldEdit, Arceon, and other standard building tools.
- Solo participation only — team builds are not allowed
- Builds must be original — no copying or importing schematics from the internet
- The entire building process must take place on the event server; pre-built structures are forbidden
- Any offensive, inappropriate, or non-thematic content will lead to instant disqualification
- Only builds finished within the event time will be judged
- The jury may extend the build time if necessary
- Administration reserves the right to:
- remove any participant from the event without discussion,
- pause the event to resolve technical or organizational issues.
- The jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal
💰 Prize Distribution
The total prize pool is $100, split among 5 winners.
Payments are made via PayPal. If you can’t receive PayPal, crypto (USDT) is available as an alternative.
Q: How do I participate?
A: Join our server November 1st using 1.21.8 using contest.colombinomc.com IP and follow the rules.
Q: Can I participate with a friend?
A: This event is solo only, but team battles may be hosted in future events!
Q: What if I crash or disconnect during the event?
A: You can reconnect and continue building as long as the timer is still running.
Q: How are the winners chosen?
A: The judging panel will rate builds on creativity, atmosphere, and technical execution.
Q: How do I receive my prize?
A: Winners will be contacted via Discord after the event. Payouts are done through PayPal. If you can’t use PayPal, we can send via crypto.
Q: Can I stream or record my build?
A: Absolutely! You’re encouraged to stream or post your progress — tag us with #ColombinoMC 🎃
Q: Do I need any mods?
A: Nope! All tools are provided on the creative server — no client mods are required. Axiom is a nice addition and is recommended for all participants.
